Industrial Greenhouse Wedding Ideas
We love when modern and vintage cross paths. Contrasting styles always make for a fun and lively shoot, and this one created to inspire industrial greenhouse wedding ideas is no different! These concepts were brought together with the look and feel of antiquated romance meets urban styling. To keep the lines minimal but to also add more botanicals for the greenhouse feel, cool potted greens and succulents were brought in, modernizing the space without going overboard. And it must be mentioned: any time copper is used, we always have to take a second and third look.
Snapped by Milton Photography, we love how they got every little detail of this layered editorial. With lots of props and plants around, they perfectly navigated the styled scene and captured all the pretty vignettes.
Event designer Kismet & Clover expertly brought together the modern industrial venue vibe with the organic feel they wanted to achieve for this shoot. Using copper accents and textured linens, they brought warmth to this cool, contemporary space.
Floral designers at Chickweed Cottage know that you don’t always have to go the traditional route when we think of wedding flowers. They changed things up by using lots of succulents and cascading greens for an updated, urban garden vibe.
From the event designer, Kismet & Clover: The inspiration for this wedding shoot came from wanting to draw upon the romantic feel of a greenhouse while balancing it with the urban feel of an industrial interior. We love the look of an old farmhouse potting shed, but wanted to modernize it by softening the rustic with clean modern lines, copper, metallic undertones, and soft textures.
The ceremony arbour is both copper and modern, and is offset by a textured backdrop of hand-painted water colored linen. We wanted to re-create a greenhouse effect as an ode to spring, so we adorned the space with an assortment of potted greens and succulents, and styled the arbour with dainty eucalyptus. We’re head over heels for the crazy gorgeous cascading bouquet, predominantly composed of a mixture of greenery.
As for the cake vignette, what better way to represent springtime but with vibrant tulips! We love the naked cake with the coral tulip garnish, and it looks so darling on the old upcycled wooden spindle. For the tablescape, we used a farm table and balanced it out with a minimalistic table setting of copper charger plates adorned with white and grey blue undertones. Our stationery designer totally captured the essence of our vision in her sleek modern invitation suite.
This styled wedding was fresh, light and airy, and embodied a perfect mix of urban city feel with a fresh greenhouse elegance. We feel that this photo shoot will inspire modern brides with a penchant for lush greens, and an appeal for a soft meets rustic aesthetic.
