How To Embrace the Old World Romance Wedding Style

We’ll be honest. It was a challenge to hold off on sharing sneak peaks of this Old World romance wedding inspiration. From the honey-colored flowers met with a time-faded blue to the historic Monastery venue, we’ve got chills to the bone. It doesn’t take much to achieve this Old World style – thoughtfully placed flowers, curated heirloom details and soft textures should do the trick. And when in doubt, embrace natural motion!

From Kaytee of Roots Floral Design: We wanted a color palette that would not only capture the autumn season but also contrast nicely with The Monastery. We foraged a lot for the flowers, which provided a very organic and natural vibe to the arrangements. Something that you don’t see too often at the Monastery. We really wanted to showcase that anyone, with any particular style, can get married in this beautiful venue and still have the flowers and details reflect their personality and style. We personally believe the earthy yellows and reds allow a great contrast with the cool blue walls of the Monastery.
