Wedding Budget Breakdown! What a 60K Budget Looks Like with 100 Guests

Drumroll, please….. (we sincerely hope you look + sound like Clark Griswold about to light the night sky with 25,000 twinkle lights right now.) The 100 guest count wedding inspiration is now here! Earlier today we shared Parts 1 and 2 of this series aimed at highlighting how the aesthetics and elements of a wedding can change based on the number of wedding guests alone. The budget stayed the same across all 3 concepts, as did the incredible vendor team and romantic garden moodboard.

Have you noticed the venue, River Oaks Garden Club, has stayed the same for all 3 versions too? While venues are typically one of the more significant costs for weddings, it just goes to show that guest count makes all the difference.

Josh & Dana Fernandez have spilled some pretty incredible secrets on the subject, and they’re not done yet! From the abundance and variety of flowers used to the intricacy of the wedding cake, every little guest count change has a significant impact.

And her Pronovias gown from Mia Bridal Couture with droopy off-the-shoulder sleeves has us green with envy.

Texas wedding photographers, Josh & Dana Fernandez, went into depth about how each element is affected by a guest count reduction in Part 2, but there’s a few other developments based on the 100 guest count size specifically.

On the chairs:
For the 100 guest count, we were able to use linen and wood mixed chairs for a more luxurious feel.

On the rentals:
All place setting items were rented (vs using catering items).
Aztec Events & Tents provided such exquisite details as hemstitched napkins, teal chargers and vintage crystal goblets.
And Swift + Company brought those upholstered linen armchairs with a French antique vibe to the table. Pun intended.

On the invitations and paper goods:
The invitation suite was upgraded to have a die cut shape, special paper, envelope liners, custom wax seal, additional embellishments as well as adding in place cards, menu cards, and an escort card wall.

Speaking of this escort wall, can we all give a standing ovation to Half Moon Lettering‘s artistry here? Garden enchantment forever!

Planned by Two Be Wed, we’d say they did a pretty incredible job of creating 3 distinct looks covering everything from the types of flowers to texture of the chairs.

In closing from Josh & Dana Fernandez: We also want to note that while we understand that not everyone will be focused on increasing their design budget with a lower guest count, some other options to consider that you could invest in instead of florals, decor and paper (or a mixture of):
1. Photo Booth
2. Albums
3. Videographer
4. Band
5. Accent Lighting
6. Upgrading to premium liquor
7. Honeymoon (or honeymoon upgrades/excursions)
8. Upgrading menu
9. Lounge furniture

Above all else, we hope this was helpful in visually just how much your guest count can affect your wedding budget and it helps in deciding what matters most to you on your wedding day!
