Celestial Backyard Wedding Teal Midcentury

We’re stealing your attention to spotlight this celestial backyard wedding with teal velvet goodness and mid-century accents everywhere you look. Jane Alexandra Events was the creative mastermind behind this at-home fete brimming with lush greenery ceremony decor, jewel tones juxtaposed with matte black hues and crescent moons in all the right places. The cheery mix of dahlias, anemones, butterfly ranunculus and scabiosa expertly composed by 1703 Event Studios is the perfect complement! Yuri Yatel captures every moment splendidly, the rich colors and infectious joy shining through each frame, and we are oh so glad you get to witness alongside us today. Shall we?

From the Planner, Jane Alexandra Events: The Bride, Rebecca is actually my cousin and when she came to me saying she wanted to have a small and intimate COVID friendly wedding I jumped right in to help! When finding the perfect location we didn’t have to look far since I had always dreamed of hosting a wedding in my moms backyard. I have always been in awe of her gardening skills and the existing archway covered in vines just begged to be the backdrop of a ceremony. I put my step dad to work letting him know where to install lighting and just like that it became the perfect venue!

Rebecca and Alec wanted their wedding to reflect the season so we utilized fall colors such as oranges, purples, and reds and then we added a pop of Teal to brighten things up. Rebecca’s ring was made to look like the sun and the moon so it was only fitting that we had a celestial theme for the day.

The custom signage and invitation suite created by the amazing Kelly Patrice was perfectly aligned with the vision using moons and stars in the design. Safety was our top priority. Guests wore masks, ceremony chairs and reception tables were set up by families and spaces six feet apart. We also live streamed the ceremony for guests who were unable to attend.
