Intimate Monochromatic Wedding Inspiration with Modern Details
We sure are fans of colorful weddings, but white is the culmination of all colors. So naturally, this intimate monochromatic wedding inspiration offers up beauty on an infinite scale! This talented team of Pennsylvania vendors leveled up on modern wedding trends with the textures, shapes and fashion they employed. Seriously – you will never see a wedding party more dapper than this one!
We’re falling pretty quickly for these fresh images captured by fine art wedding photographer, Emily Wren Photography. She captures the story in the most delightful way!
From the photographer, Emily Wren Photography: For this shoot, we wanted to create a clean, elevated aesthetic. Stepping away from the lavish old-world feel into something a bit more modern. With its light-filled, open, gallery-like space Supply Manheim in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania was the all white, dream space we needed to establish the that clean, fine art quality! We also wanted to showcase a family, instead of just the beautifully styled couples we’re used to seeing in most wedding editorials. Our goal was to extend high fashion inspiration beyond the bride and groom.
With expert styling from the immensely talented Sara Murray of Confetti & Co., we created bright, sculptural spaces for the ceremony and reception.
Belovely‘s Lauren constructed two gently arcing pillars of white blooms and natural greenery for an open ceremony arch. Then, to soften the crisp, white space, she filled porcelain bowls with clouds of dried baby’s breath and created arrangements with billowing, ivory blooms accented by a few faintly pink roses.
Given the sophisticated, minimalist setting, we wanted to make sure everyone was styled appropriately. Natalie from True Beauty Marks kept the makeup natural and dewy, highlighting everyone’s unique beauty and making sure they had that effortless glow!
For our bride’s dress, we chose the Lorelei gown from Lovely because it allowed her to be modern and stylish without sacrificing timeless details like a satin bodice and layers of featherlight organza. For the groom, it was important to find a suit that would fit with the overall lightness of the day.
Philly’s resident suit kings at Commonwealth Proper had just the thing— a beautifully tailored linen coat paired with a soft linen button down, white pants, and some seriously cool saddle oxfords. The finishing touch was a refined set of rings from Egan Day!
Shindig Bespoke made an invite suite that looked as though it was pulled from the pages of an artist’s sketchbook— a perfect complement to gallery aesthetic.
Cake Life Bake Shop outdid themselves with a spectacular four-tiered white cake wrapped in deftly sculpted layers of gauze-like frosting that would have made Michelangelo weep!
BHLDN provided looks for the bride’s family and we set up a little lounge area against a white, textural backdrop from Dusted Backdrops to use for more stylized family portraits. Ultimately, the family dynamic gave the shoot a genuine, intimate, and narrative quality to the images that we felt couples in search of inspiration would really connect with!
