Grand Courthouse Wedding With Romantic Greenery
Carrie Bradshaw isn’t the only one who can rock a grand courthouse wedding at Historic DeKalb Courthouse. Lauren + Josh’s day was filled with dramatic, climbing greenery and a perfectly blended color palette of creamy beige, soft eucalyptus and dusty blue. Gardenia Floral Design knocked that ceremony backdrop out of the park! You’ll see what we mean in the visual poetry from Heather Wall Photography below. Ruffled vendor, Taylor Dawn, worked closely with L+J to create a design aesthetic that was a true reflection of them, and from the elegant decor elements to the sentimental design moments, we’re brought to tears every time we look at this gallery. Just wait till you see the antique piano repurposed to honor loved ones past, including the groom’s father. Be still, our hearts!
From the event designer, Taylor Dawn: Lauren + Josh’s wedding day was an elegant and classic portrayal of the couple to their closest family and friends. Set in a historic courthouse, Lauren worked with Taylor Dawn to curate a perfect vision for their wedding day. The wedding vision and design was pulled from the classic, romantic marble of the courthouse paired with soft blues and neutral floral hues. Lauren and Josh said their vows under an arch of climbing greenery, bringing an organic touch to the inside of the courthouse. Sitting under the same climbing greenery at their Estate Table, the couple was surrounded by their closest friends and family for dinner before dancing the night away.
