From the Planner & Designer, Alice of ARW Event and Wedding Design:

A Black and White Elegant Shoot that celebrates the intimate gathering are 2020. With every detail considered to make the setting as personalised and special to guests.

Ashridge House was chosen for the contrast between historic and the modernity of the design. The inspiration was a monochrome palette as a nod to the elegance that can be created with a simple palette especially with intimate occasions. The style is timeless with many small details that are personalised and celebrated with such an intimate setting.

The inspiration was drawn directly from the amazing tulle dresses that were showcased as well as the veil with hand stitched love motifs all around the train. The bride also contracted her look with a tulle black bow against the white dress for a timeless and stylistic detail post ceremony.

The ceremony took place in Ashridge’s on-site Chapel, the ceremony inspiration was drawn for a deconstructed arch representing the couple being ‘one’. Vows were also embossed in white with black ink detailing and formed a whole circle when put together with this underlying theme.

The dinner seated 12 – the perfect number for an intimate celebration with loved ones. Tulle centrepieces provide a modern twist on a classic with hand embroidered runner with the couples first dance song on. Classic and elegant tableware paired with a statement cut glass black wine glass embellished the table with personalised napkins with black stitching and luxurious black bows displaying the wedding date were the finale details.

The outdoor balloon installation decorated the historical venue and provided a modern twist that is whimsical and playful.
