16 Reasons To Have a Fall Wedding

fall wedding aisle with planted arrangements and ribbon stakes

Lately, we’ve been taking stock of the leaves turning to ginger and rust and the subtle spice tones filling the air. It’s getting to be the time of year that shines a spotlight on New England and all the rich, mapley goodness that autumn in the northeast inspires. We’re falling for just about every willowy branch arrangement, caramelized confection, woodland nymph crown and embossed leather invitation suite that has filled our inbox these past few weeks, so we’re donning our tartan capes and cognac boots early in preparation for all things autumn this year. And naturally, we wanted to share some of our favorite fall wedding ideas with you here! So if you have a penchant for the artisan harvest kind of aesthetic, get ready to fall madly in love with the decor, food & bev, and floral ideas in store!

Got to love texture in paper goods! So much interest and cohesion can be added to your wedding story by incorporating textures that reflect your relationship, your wedding destination or the time of year. Perhaps you are Ron Swanson and your first date involved teaching her out to craft a cane back chair – why not incorporate place cards backed by open weave cane into your table? The possibilities are endless. And also I love Ron Swanson.
