Citrus Wedding Colors Meet A Breathtaking City Skyline
Consider these citrus wedding colors the ultimate palette inspiration for late summer soirees. With peachy ranunculus, dusty pink roses, buttercream peonies and ecru sweet pea, Bear Roots Floral composed a romantic floral pillar ceremony backdrop, a tablescape with ikebana arrangements and a soft bouquet with trailing silk ribbon. If we could ask StR Events one thing, it would be to design this rooftop fete again so that we could experience ourselves. The lucite chairs, the square place setting, the bas relief cake…. it’s all a dream! A detail we especially loved was the way the cake mimicked the embroidered details of the bridal fashion, from off-the-shoulder gown to embellished heel, all captured with a poetic level of skill from Amanda Eloise Photography. From the Photographer, Amanda Eloise Photography: A modern elegance styled shoot that brings together a unique pastel color scheme combined and celebrates diversity. With vibrant pops of yellows, peaches, and oranges; this inspiration shoot takes place in a breathtaking skyline setting of Revery at North 4th Corridor.
Our design team wanted to bring a colorful spring palette to life, and was inspired by the modern venue that overlooks the Columbus skyline. Complemented by the citrus colors mixed in with pastel details, we designed a fresh twist on modern elegance. Because we wanted colorful, spring florals, we opted for a more muted, neutral tablescape with nude linens with specs of gold and silver, sleek dinnerware and simple place settings. We intentionally incorporated champagne glasses with zesty lemon slices, colorful floral silk fabric printed with locally gathered flowers by Thistle and Twill, and beautiful vibrant floral displays by Bear Roots Floral.
Our goal with the floral design was to bring soft, textured florals and modern floral arrangements together. We wanted it to be romantic and modern all at the same time, while being attainable for a real engaged couple. All this to bring together a twist on our beloved romantic pastels and fresh citrus colors.
We wanted a gown that was elegant, but had a design that stood out above the rest. The bride’s delicate Galia Lahav gown is intricately detailed and paired beautifully with removable balloon sleeves and custom jewelry that pull the entire look together. Combined with the groom’s white and black suit, it’s the perfect modern touch to the floor to ceiling walls of glass boasting a skyline view.
After an unpredictable year, it was so nice to come together as a vendor team and create something so fresh and inspiring to our creative hearts!
Citrus wedding colors are always a ray of sunshine, it’s true. So check out this Vancouver loft elopement that promises a modern bohemian take on this fail-proof palette next!
